WWE Star’s Opponent For Chris Bey Benefit Indie Show Confirmed

A WWE star’s opponent for Chris Bey’s benefit independent show has now been officially confirmed.

During TNA Wrestling’s October 27, 2024 taping in Detroit, Chris Bey suffered a serious neck injury whilst competing alongside Ace Austin against The Hardy Boyz, undergoing surgery shortly thereafter.

On February 13, Bey took to social media for the first time since the injury, revealing that he was now able to get out his wheelchair and was learning to walk again.

Amid his recovery, the promotion where Bey began his pro wrestling career – Future Stars of Wrestling – announced a special benefit event on March 23 in Las Vegas, NV, featuring appearances from stars across many different promotions.

One of the marquee names set to appear at the show is WWE’s Karrion Kross, with an announcement made by FSW last month, however, what was not revealed at the time was who the Raw star would be facing at the show.

That information has now been revealed however, as FSW announced on Twitter that Kross will be facing off with recently departed TNA Wrestling star Alex Hammerstone at FSW Mecca X Beynefit for Bey.

The announcement reads:

The 5th match signed for Beynefit For @DashingChrisBey features 2 of the greatest @FSWVegas Champions honoring the 3rd.

On Mar 23rd WWE Superstar @realKILLERkross and @alexhammerstone lock up one more time inside an FSW ring, for the first time in 7 years.

While both Kross and Hammerstone have held the FSW Heavyweight Championship, their match on March 23 will be the first time they’ve met one-on-one.

Also announced for FSW Beynefit for Bey are AEW stars Swerve Strickland, Brian Cage and Lio Rush as well as Bey’s tag team partner Ace Austin and WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam among many others.
