WWE Stars Out ‘Indefinitely’ Due To Injury

From the moment they were renamed The Viking Experience, the main roster careers of Erik and Ivar appear to have been slightly cursed, with bad booking and injuries plaguing their time on Raw and SmackDown.

The bad luck doesn’t appear to be ending any time soon, as Dave Meltzer has revealed in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Erik is out indefinitely with a foot injury, meaning there’s very little chance we’re going to see anything of the Viking Raiders for some time.

Meltzer wrote:

The Viking Raiders are shelved for an indefinite period of time due to Erik suffering a foot injury. Aliyah is out of action and it appears Shotzi will be put in her spot as Rodriguez’s tag team partner. But that may not be the case as they may just have wanted to turn back Shotzi. Aliyah’s injury wasn’t considered serious at press time as she’s listed to return next week. Her injury was mentioned in passing on television without saying what it was.
