UPDATE: It appears the releases have not been granted – read more at this link.
The Schism has been one of the most featured acts on NXT television in recent months, with Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid recruiting Ava (Raine) to the group.
The four were a part of an eight-person mixed tag team match at NXT Stand & Deliver against Chase U and Tyler Bate, with Chase U and Bate picking up the win.
After the match, Jagger Reid took to Twitter to post a teaser of what seemed like a character shift back to their Grizzled Young Veterans characters, but that may have not been the case.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), Reid and Fowler have requested their releases from WWE.
