Two WWE stars recreate a hilarious iconic Shawn Michaels WWE segment following last night’s episode of NXT in Philadelphia.

Last night’s episode of NXT took place in the 2300 Arena, the old ECW arena, and featured a big 10-woman tag team main event.

The match saw TNA’s Jordynne Grace team with Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer, Kelani Jordan and Zaria to face off against NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, Cora Jade and Fatal Influence.

It was the babyface team that ended up scoring the win, with Zaria pinning Roxanne to win the match for her team.

Following the show, WWE has shared a backstage interaction with Roxanne and Cora, with Roxanne venting her frustrations, before delivering a Superkick to Robert Stone, and exclaiming ‘I just kicked Stone!’.

The segment was an obvious homage to NXT head booker Shawn Michaels’ hilarious backstage segment from Cyber Sunday 2006, where he was ranting to Triple H backstage before Superkicking a backstage worker named ‘Stan’.

Funnily enough, Stan was portrayed by Shawn Spears in the original segment, who is currently a part of the NXT roster.
