Several WWE Stars Tease Challenging For Championship

Following the first-ever champion being crowned, WWE stars Nathan Frazer and Ivar have teased challenging for the WWE Speed Championship.

On the May 3 edition of Speed, Ricochet defeated Johnny Gargano to become the first-ever WWE Speed Champion in the tournament finals.

With a new champion being crowned, stars have been jockeying to see who will be in the running for the new championship gold.

Following Ricochet’s win, current NXT Tag Team Champion Nathan Frazer took to social media to hint at a potential title match against the new WWE Speed Champion. He wrote:

I can think of a perfect first challenger for you…

Meanwhile, WWE Raw star Ivar took to social media to also comment on potentially facing Ricochet for the gold. He wrote:

Maybe I need to Redefine the word “speed” then

WWE also announced a new #1 contender tournament to determine who will face Ricochet for the brand new title.

Apollo Crews, Ivar, Berto and Tyler Bate will all compete in the upcoming tournament.
