The WWE status of Bray Wyatt has been up in the air since he last appeared on WWE television back in February.
Last week, it was reported that Wyatt was not listed on the internal WWE roster at all, which led to speculation on whether or not he was still with the company.
Clarification emerged from Fightful Select, who reported that Wyatt was still with WWE, he was just not listed due to him currently being absent due to ‘illness’.
Taking to Twitter today, WrestleVotes provided more clarification on Wyatt’s internal listing, noting that he is listed internally as a part of an ‘unassigned’ category.
The other names listed under the unassigned internal roster are the currently injured Tommaso Ciampa and R-Truth, as well as Logan Paul and Gable Steveson.
It’s interesting to note that Ciampa and Truth are the only injured names listed on the roster, which could imply they may be on their way back to the company soon.
Other injured WWE stars, namely Randy Orton, Big E and Robert Roode, are seemingly not listed anywhere on the internal roster with their in-ring futures up in the air.
Here are results from the May 15 episode of WWE Raw:
Shinsuke Nakamura def. The Miz
It was announced Liv Morgan had suffered an injury and the scheduled Women’s Tag Team Championship match was cancelled
Mustafa Ali won a battle royal to become #1 contender for Gunther’s Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions
Becky Lynch returned and cut a promo on Trish Stratus, challenging her to a match at Night of Champions
Dominik Mysterio def. Xavier Woods
As JD McDonagh left the arena after an interview, there was a tease of Finn Balor scouting him to recruit him for Judgment Day
Indus Sher (Sanga & Veer) def. two jobbers
Cody Rhodes promo on Brock Lesnar ahead of their Night of Champions match
Raquel Rodriguez def. Chelsea Green
Judgment Day (Finn Balor & Damian Priest) def. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn after interference from Imperium, which had been instigated by Paul Heyman doing deals with Judgment Day and Imperium earlier in the night
Regarding the “roster rankings” & Bray Wyatt’s name not listed, I was passed the internal groupings. Names that appeared alongside him in this “unassigned” category that are still listed include Ciampa, Truth, Gable Steveson & Logan Paul.
Bray Wyatt is still on payroll however.
