WWE Stars Win Mixed Tag Team Championship

Two WWE stars have now become new Mixed Tag Team Champions just a few months after being paired together for the first time.

This past summer saw the Canadian duo of Ethan Page and Chelsea Green establish a partnership on NXT TV.

Despite never even meeting each other before, they became a popular act and Green has recently described Page as the perfect on-screen partner for her.

Today at AAA’s Day of the Dead show at the Showcenter Complex in Monterrey, Mexico, Page and Green challenged Mr Iguana and La Hiedra for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship.

The Canadians were successful and are the new AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions.

After the match, Hiedra slapped Iguana, seemingly finishing their partnership.

Then, NXT star Lola Vice slid into the ring with Mr Iguana, which cheered him up quite a lot.

Iguana and Hiedra had been champions since December 2024, winning the title from Decay’s Crazzy Steve & Havok.

The Ethan Page and Chelsea Green partnership has yet to debut on the WWE main roster, although Green has said multiple times that she’s been pushing for it.

Page is also the current NXT North American Champion, having held the title since May 27 when he won it from Ricky Saints.
