WWE Stars Appear At Boxing Event WWE

A number of WWE stars appeared at the recent Zuffa Boxing event at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas over the past weekend.

The TKO Group-owned Zuffa Boxing saw its fourth event take place on March 8, with WWE’s Rhea Ripley and Grayson Waller in attendance.

Australia was well-represented in the ring, as well as outside of it, with Jai Opetaia beating Brandon Glanton by unanimous decision in the main event of the show.

Opetaia’s victory saw him become Zuffa Boxing Cruiserweight Champion and the first fighter to hold a title in the promotion.

With an Australian as champion, Grayson Waller shared his thoughts on Zuffa Boxing and combat sports in general in a video shared on Twitter, saying:

“Once again, the Australians, we run combat sports, whether it’s UFC, whether it’s Zuffa Boxing, or whether it’s WWE, the Australians are the best in the world, and we’re gonna keep taking over.”

Zuffa Boxing was founded in June 2025, with WWE President Nick Khan serving as Promoter, alongside TKO CEO & Executive Chairman Ari Emanuel, and Sela CEO & Managing Director Raka Aiharthy.

It was previously that WWE commentator Joe Tessitore would serve as play-by-play announcer for Zuffa Boxing.
