It feels like over the past few week there has been talk of about 32 billion new NXT brands, and there’s reportedly another to add to the list.
As per Wrestling Inc, WWE has been planning to create a new lucha libre show which would be an “NXT Mexico of sorts”.
It is said to be “very early on in the planning stages” and the company is considering four-time Cruiserweight Champion Chavo Guerrero Jr as a consultant for the project.
Guerrero was very involved with Lucha Underground as an agent and obviously has the pedigree especially when it comes to Mexico and lucha libre.
This comes after reports that NXT India will be launching in January, which would lead to a separate NXT Asia soon after, and there is also the new “NXT for NXT” led by Gabe Sapolsky that is in the works too.
