A lawsuit has been filed against WWE by Jackson Parsons, who alleges he was severely injured in a traffic accident involving a WWE rented vehicle.
The lawsuit wad filed on June 12 to the Circuit Court for the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit in and for Hillsborough Circuit in Florida.
According to Parsons, a van rented by WWE employee Gaitan Thomas hit Parsons on who was riding a bicycle at the time of the alleged incident on June 22, 2019.
As a result of the incident, Parsons has claimed the following:
“[I] suffered physical injuries, pain-and-suffering, disability and the inability and loss of the capacity to lead and enjoy normal life, inconvenience, disfigurement, scarring and mental anguish.”
The filing goes on to assert that his injuries and suffering are permanent, and that he has been hit with medical expenses as a result of the alleged incident. He went on the state that he had suffered “a loss of earnings and earning capacity, both in the past and in the future.”
Overall, Parsons is seeking a settlement of $1,064,328.38, which he claims will cover his medical expenses and the anguish he dealt with as a result of the alleged incident.
WWE is yet to respond to the lawsuit as of writing.
