WWE SummerSlam Match Ran Shorter Than Planned

WWE SummerSlam Match Ran Shorter Than Planned WWE

A WWE SummerSlam match ran shorter than its planned allotted time according to a new report.

Among the seven match card for WWE SummerSlam, one match was considerably briefer than many fans had expected – that being the Intercontinental Championship match between Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker.

Clocking in at under six minutes, it was far shorter than their prior bout at Money in the Bank last month, as well as being half the length of the next shortest match – the United States Championship match between Logan Paul and LA Knight.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, the match was actually allotted ten minutes on the card, but it instead ran shorter than expected.

There was no further information given as to why exactly this was, but we will provide further update if more information becomes available.

Breakker’s championship win was the first of his main roster WWE career, and one of three title changes on the night at SummerSlam.

Elsewhere LA Knight won the United States Championship – defeating Logan Paul, while GUNTHER captured the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest following Finn Balor’s betrayal.
