Becky Lynch has teased the repeat of an iconic WWE moment when she rolls up to the first two-night SummerSlam in August.
WWE SummerSlam takes place on August 2 and 3, returning to the MetLife Stadium in Newark, New Jersey.
A past home to WrestleMania, it was the April 2019 edition of the WWE Premium Live Event that Lynch wants to recreate.
Speaking on the WWE SummerSlam KickOff Show, Becky Lynch recounted the origins of the “Becky Two Belts” chant from WrestleMania 35, saying:
“Does anybody remember what happened the last time we were in the MetLife Stadium?
“Does anybody remember the main event the last time we were in the MetLife Stadium? (crowd chanting ‘Becky Two Belts’)
“Well, that might just be a prediction of what I’m looking to do again.”
WrestleMania 35 saw Lynch become “Becky Two Belts” after defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a Winner Takes All match for the WWE Raw & SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Charlotte Flair has previously revealed that she wasn’t a fan of the match that served as the main event for WrestleMania 35.
Lynch is the current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion on Raw, with its counterpart title held by Zelina Vega, the Women’s United States Champion on SmackDown.
Tiffany Stratton currently holds the WWE Women’s Championship, with IYO SKY holding the Women’s World Title.
