A WWE star has reacted to a crazy spot at SummerSlam that saw the real-life husband and wife which probably saw them both need a bit of TLC.

August 3 saw The Wyatt Sicks retain the WWE Tag Team Championship against Andrade & Rey Fenix, #DIY, Fraxiom, Motor City Machine Guns and The Street Profits.

The match wasn’t just a six-way tag match, but was a Six-Pack Table Ladders and Chairs match for the championship, with Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy retaining.

During the match, #DIY tried to stack the odds in their favor, with Candice LeRae making a play for the titles as they hung about the ring in the MetLife Stadium.

With Johnny Gargano supporting the ladder as his real-life wife wrestled with the belts, it would be an unfortunate moment for Tomasso Ciampa that would send LeRae crashing through another ladder on the outside of the ring.

Things wouldn’t go well for Ciampa and Gargano later in the match, with Uncle Howdy appearing and sending both members of #DIY through a table on the outside.

Gargano has now addressed the turmoil in a post on Twitter, sharing footage of the moments and a message that read:

“We are the Mother and Father of a 3-year-old child, btw.”

Gargano and LeRae’s son was born in February 2022 and is named Quill, after the character StarLord from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Triple H has also commented on the SummerSlam match featuring #DIY, declaring it “absolutely F’N awesome“.
