WWE Champion Calls Out Rumored WrestleMania 41 Opponent For SummerSlam 2025

A WWE champion has called out a star who was rumored to face them at WrestleMania 41, for a match at SummerSlam.

In the lead-up to the April 19-20 event, Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green made it very clear that she wanted a match with Nikki Bella, even pitching a Hair vs Hair bout for the big show.

While Green ultimately didn’t compete at the two-night event, it was reported that Nikki Bella was one of the stars pitched to face Green in an open challenge at the event.

With WrestleMania 41 in the rearview mirror, Chelsea Green has now called Nikki Bella out for WWE SummerSlam.

Speaking in an Instagram story for Xfinity, Green compared herself to Bella, while noting that WWE SummerSlam is just a few months away.

The WWE Women’s US Champion said:

“I’m calling out Nikki Bella. Nikki, SummerSlam is only a few months away honey, here I am.

“At this point I’m giving diva, I’m giving President, I’m giving everything that you used to give, fearless. So here I am waiting.”

SummerSlam 2025 will take place across two nights for the first time, emanating from New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium on August 2-3.

Nikki Bella recently noted that the Bella Twins will return, stating that she’s waiting for her sister Brie to make her own comeback.

This comes after Nikki Bella made her in-ring return in February’s WWE Royal Rumble match.
