Plans for the theme of this year’s WWE Survivor Series premium live event appear to have been revealed.
Since the 2016 brand split, Survivor Series has been the one night of the year where Raw and SmackDown stars have went head to head in direct competition… well, one of the only nights.
The 2019 show saw the formula shaken up with the addition of NXT to the mix, with the (at the time) Black and Gold brand winning the night overall.
While NXT hasn’t been a part of any Survivor Series events since, it has been speculated that the developmental brand will play a role on this year’s show, with Triple H now leading WWE creative.
Unfortunately for NXT 2.0 fans, this doesn’t seem to be the case. WWE has shared a new logo for the November 26 premium live event, which only features the colors red and blue, indicating that the show will be Raw vs SmackDown themed.
You can view the logo at this link.
At last year’s event, Team Raw defeated team SmackDown in both the men’s and women’s traditional Survivor Series bouts. In the main event of the show, Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated WWE Champion Big E in singles action.
Reigns, currently the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, will next defend his gold against Drew McIntyre at Clash At The Castle on September 3.
