Following the premium live event, WWE SmackDown star Kevin Owens has questioned his absence from Survivor Series 2024.

WWE Survivor Series: WarGames proved to be one of the biggest events of 2024 for the company. The show took place from Vancouver and was headlined by the Men’s WarGames Match.

Despite stars like Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Rhea Ripley on the event, there were still some major names left off the card.

Ahead of the show, WWE announced that Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens on December 14 at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

On December 2, Kevin Owens took to social media to amplify a conspiracy theory that WWE was afraid to book him at Survivor Series 2024 due to the likely positive reaction from his home country of Canada. He wrote:

Fans seem to be behind the theory shared by Owens with the post receiving over 6K likes since it was posted at the time of this writing.

Kevin Owens has also gained “a lot of buzz” backstage for his most recent SmackDown performance, which you can read here.
