This weekend at Survivor Series, we are going to see United States Champion Bobby Lashley go one-on-one against Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn in one of six Raw vs. SmackDown matches on the show.
Dave Meltzer on the Wrestling Observer Radio is reporting that despite being one of the best wrestlers in the world at the moment, Sami Zayn is going to be squashed by Lashley at Survivor Series.
“Even though Sami Zayn is much better than Bobby Lashley, they’re gonna work it as a squash.”
Speaking of rather surprising things happening at Survivor Series, it has been reported that WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle is going to be at the pay-per-view despite having been released by the company in April.
Bobby Lashley vs. Sami Zayn is not the only Raw vs. SmackDown match taking place at Survivor Series, with the following inter-brand affairs also booked for the show:
- Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns
- Asuka vs. Sasha Banks
- Riddle, AJ Styles, Sheamus, Keith Lee & Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Jey Uso, King Corbin & TBA
- New Day vs. Street Profits
- Lana, Shayna Baszler, Peyton Royce, Lacey Evans & Nia Jax vs. Liv Morgan, Bianca Belair, Ruby Riott, TBA & TBA
As always, stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com and WrestleTalk’s YouTube channels for live coverage and live reactions of the pay-per-view this coming Sunday.
