WWE Star Teases Tag Team Championship Challenge With Injured Roster Member

A WWE star has teased a Women’s Tag Team Championship challenge with a currently injured roster member.

SmackDown star Shotzi has been out of action since suffering a torn ACL during an NXT Women’s Championship match with Lyra Valkyria back in February.

While there’s not been any recent word on when we can expect Shotzi back on TV, one of her SmackDown co-horts has now banged the drum publicly for a future alliance.

Taking to Twitter, fellow SmackDown star Michin posted:

Hey @ShotziWWE whenever you 100%, I think we should go after those tag titles…

#wweraw

This is not the first time that the idea of a tag team between Shotzi and Michin has been teased, with Shotzi initially being the one to plant the seed.

During Michin’s Street Fight with Jaida Parker in NXT on July 2 Shotzi took to social media to claim that Michin was the only one on the WWE roster that could “match her freak”.

Michin’s most recent WWE TV appearance came on the July 19 edition of SmackDown, where she picked up a big win over Miss Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton.
