Reason WWE Tag Team Split Up Explained WWE

The reason a WWE tag team just split up has been explained from the perspective of one of the teammates who brawled with their partner.

The May 21 episode of WWE NXT saw Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler come to blows, with General Manager Ava stepping in.

Natalya and Karmen Petrovic picked up the victory over the team of Vice and Baszler, and you can see the aftermath of the match below this news story.

As can be seen in the video, Vice delivered a roundhouse kick in response to Baszler’s attempt to help her up to her feet post-match.

Continuing to disrespect Baszler in the ring, Vice would find herself on the receiving end of a Kirifuda clutch with the pair continuing to brawl.

The arrival of NXT GM Ava gave both women what they clearly wanted, and something the GM wanted to see, with the pair set to face off at NXT Battleground in an NXT Underground match.

Addressing her actions on Twitter, Vice revealed the reason for her attack, tweeting:

“She never let me be myself.”

NXT Battleground takes place on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Announced matches for NXT Battleground include Oba Femi defending the NXT North American Championship in a Triple Threat match against Wes Lee and Joe Coffey.

The inaugural NXT Women’s North American Champion will also be crowned as Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Jaida Parker, Fallon Henley and two more qualifiers face off in a ladder match.

Roxanne Perez will also defend the NXT Women’s Championship on the upcoming PLE against an opponent who will be revealed next week.

Shayna Baszler also addressed the situation after NXT as you can see below:
