After it already happened recently, there could be yet another WWE tag team set for a singles match against each other.
On the May 23 episode of NXT, Hank Walker picked up a win over his own partner, Tank Ledger, in a “friendly competition” style match.
Their inspiration for having a match against each other came from the success of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, whose story is that they had fights with each other in bars before becoming a tag team.
And it seems Hanky Tanky might be paying it forward once more, as another NXT tag team has teased doing the same.
That team is Edris Enofé and Malik Blade, who encountered Hank and Tank backstage on last week’s May 30 NXT and Blade seemed to be pondering the idea. Enofé… not so much.
Since then, Blade has taken to Twitter to urge Enofé to “think about it”, which got the following response from Enofé:

So, Blade’s a fan of the idea, and Enofé isn’t – we’ll have to wait and see if it does lead to a match between them, or possibly even a disagreement and a split down the line.
