Former WWE Tag Team Partners React To Move To Separate Brands WWE

WWE’s Damian Priest has responded to Rhea Ripley’s emotional message about him being moved to SmackDown, exchanging messages with his former teammate.

While Priest and Ripley have been close friends away from the ring for years, their on screen relationship received an added spotlight after both stars were kicked out of the Judgment Day at SummerSlam 2024.

Following the duo teaming together and promising to have each other’s backs, Priest and Ripley now represent different brands, with Ripley remaining on Raw and Priest being moved to SmackDown during the current transfer window.

The WWE Women’s World Champion recently took to Twitter to address Priest’s move, writing:

From being strangers, to you becoming my best friend. Always being on the same brands from day one.

Being inseparable travel and gym buddies. You have always been one my my biggest supporters ❤️ I don’t want to let you go…

But I cannot wait to see the punishing you get up to. Te amo, my Terror Twin! @ArcherOfInfamy 💜

Damian Priest has now responded to Ripley’s words, noting that he wouldn’t be where he is in WWE without her support.

Priest replied:

My homie. Best friend. Sister. Not where I’m at without your support. Appreciate you more than you know and forever proud. Love you and will always have your back! The greatest! #TT4Life

Priest and Ripley teamed together frequently on house shows in 2022 and 2024, and last wrestled a televised match together against Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at Bash In Berlin 2024.
