The latest update on a WWE tag team potentially breaking up ahead of an upcoming premium live event championship match.

This Saturday’s NXT Vengeance Day event is set to feature a Triple Threat NXT Championship match, pitting Oba Femi against both Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.

On tonight’s episode of NXT, Oba came to the ring to address his upcoming match at Vengeance Day against Theory and Waller, which ended up bringing both men out.

During the segment, both Theory and Waller claimed that they would be the one that would leave Vengeance Day as the NXT Champion, before they ended up taking shots at each other.

Waller credited himself for ‘saving’ Theory’s career after WrestleMania 39, while Theory fired shots at Waller having not captured a singles championship during his time in WWE.

In the end, Waller and Theory’s tensions ended up being a ruse, with both men getting the jump on Oba, laying him out as Grayson Waller picked up the NXT Championship.
