On tonight’s special Heatwave edition of WWE NXT (August 22), an unlikely new tag team was teased in a backstage segment.

After Thea Hail begged for her loss last week to be expunged given that it was Andre Chase’s fault, the referee denied her request and she was looking dejected.

However, Jacy Jayne approached her and as Jayne started to tell Hail that Hail wasn’t the little girl who walked into the Performance Center, Thea interjected that she wasn’t a girl, she was a woman!

Jacy agreed, saying Hail had grown up a lot and went on to add that despite the fact she’s facing adversity right now, she’ll overcome it.

Jacy knows Thea will overcome because she said, “people like us” always get through it.

There was certainly enough to tease that there could be an alliance brewing between Jayne and Hail, especiallt with Hail growing ever more frustrated by Chase U.
