WWE Tag Team Potentially Splitting Update

WWE Tag Team Potentially Splitting Update WWE

An update has emerged on a WWE tag team’s status after it appeared as if they were potentially separated on the October 31 episode of SmackDown.

With Elton Prince’s continued absence from WWE programming due to injury, Pretty Deadly’s Kit Wilson returned to in-ring action against Carmelo Hayes on last night’s SmackDown, after several weeks of appearing in backstage segments on the show.

However, unlike previous appearances Wilson has made since Prince suffered his injury in May, the English star didn’t make his entrance with Pretty Deadly’s theme and presentation – instead debuting his own new music, along with personalized entrance graphics.

While this would be enough to suggest that WWE had potentially split Pretty Deadly up, Corey Graves on commentary also referred to the duo’s signature “yes boy” catchphrase as “old stuff” – further raising doubts regarding their status as a team.

In response to the repackaging a Twitter user asked Wilson whether he had “broken up” with Prince, an idea he quickly shut down.

Wilson wrote:

I’ll never break up with that man.

While it seems as if Pretty Deadly will reunite when Elton Prince makes his return based on Wilson’s comments, there’s currently no word on when that will happen or the exact nature of his injury, which was caused when Nathan Frazer’s knee struck him in the face during a tag team match between Pretty Deadly and Fraxiom on the May 2 episode of SmackDown.

We will provide updates on Wilson’s future as a singles star and Prince’s potential return as more information becomes available.
