WWE Tag Team Reunites As Member Returns From Injury WWE

A WWE tag team is back together as one of its members has returned from injury after a number of months away.

Since July 2024, Pete Dunne has been a heel in the singles division after the New Catch Republic tag team with Tyler Bate was abruptly put on hold.

That was due to Bate suffering a torn pectoral muscle in July, with their last match together being on NXT against Hank Walker and Tank Ledger.

In the meantime, Dunne has very much been a heel, feuding with the likes of popular babyfaces Sheamus and Penta.

However, the New Catch Republic now look to be back together as a babyface tag team as Bate returned from injury during today’s March 31 episode of Raw in Bate and Dunne’s home country of England.

The duo were introduced by WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce as mystery opponents for New Day.

It was New Day who ended up picking up the win, and in a post-match interview they demanded a World Tag Team Title shot against the War Raiders.

The Raiders then came out onto the ramp to confront New Day, seemingly agreeing to a title match coming up soon.
