WWE Tag Team Says They Signify The Future

WWE’s tag team scene is not what it once was. However, the two best teams they currently have are the champions of Raw and SmackDown in the New Day and the Street Profits.

Before their match at Survivor Series, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins spoke about the New Day and said that the Street Profits represent tomorrow. Here is Ford’s quote from Talking Smack, courtesy of Fightful:

“Respect is not something that comes and goes as like a new day does, you know, a new day shows up and then is tomorrow. You kind of call us tomorrow. A new day always shines up. It’s all beautiful and bright, sometimes sunny, and shiny, sometimes rainy and gloomy. But that new day always turns into tomorrow. The Street Profits are tomorrow. That’s what we can be signified as at Survivor Series — the historic, the historic WWE Survivor Series.”

The Street Profits and the New Day are set to compete at Survivor Series tonight. The two teams will represent SmackDown and Raw respectively in tonight’s battle for brand supremacy. Both teams switched brands in the draft last month.
