WWE Tag Team Split Update

There has been an update on the potential break up of a WWE tag team as there was a backstage segment between the pair offering some clarity.

In a backstage segment on tonight’s September 23 episode of Raw, Kofi Kingston approached Xavier Woods to directly address their recent discord.

Firstly, Kingston brought Woods a trombone and a box of Booty O’s in an attempt to apologize for their recent miscommunications, but it didn’t quite go as he planned.

Woods instead said that they need to be more focused and serious, and look the future instead of backwards.

In response, Kingston told Woods that over “the next few weeks”, Woods is in complete control of the decision making for New Day in an attempt to get them back on the right path.

However when American Made walked up with with Chad Gable involving himself in the New Day’s conversation, they had a jovial way of getting him out of their business.

By shouting as if the Wyatt Sicks were behind them, all of American Made (Chad Gable, Julius & Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile) were scared and looked behind them.

In the end, Gable would say he wasn’t afraid of ‘the freak family’, before walking off, while Kofi and Xavier seemed to be back on the same page for now.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Rhea Ripley revealed there would be an important stipulation when she challenges Liv Morgan for the WWE Women’s World Championship – Dominik Mysterio locked in a shark cage above the ring.
