WWE Tag Team Split Update

On tonight’s November 1 WWE SmackDown, there was an update on the continued apparent dissolution of a partnership.

Tonight’s show, taped last week, is the final episode before tomorrow’s Crown Jewel premium live event, which is set to feature Nia Jax vs Liv Morgan for the Crown Jewel Championship.

The opening segment tonight saw Nia interrupted by Liv Morgan (along with Dominik Mysterio and Raquel Rodriguez), before eventually the Money in the Bank holder Tiffany Stratton joined the scene as well.

Tiffany reminded both Nia Jax and Liv Morgan that she has the Money in the Bank briefcase and could cash-in her contract on either of them at WWE Crown Jewel.

The admission was the first time that Stratton had directly threatened to cash in on Jax as tensions between them continue to escalate. You can see more from the in-ring exchange below.

The exchange would lead to a match between Liv Morgan and Tiffany Stratton. While Morgan would come out on top, in the end Nia Jax would stand tall after taking out Morgan, Rodriguez and even smacking around Dirty Dom.

Later in a backstage segment, Tiffany Stratton claimed to Nia Jax that she just wanted Liv to think that she was going to cash in on Nia, and that it’s ‘all part of the plan’.

Bayley and Naomi entered the scene to mock Stratton before Naomi would go on to tell Nia Jax to keep the WWE Women’s Championship warm for her.

As noted, tonight’s SmackDown was pre-taped last week in preparation for the WWE Crown Jewel premium live event tomorrow, November 2 at 10am PST/1pm EST on Peacock.
