WWE Tag Team Splitting Update

WWE NXT Tag Team Champions Fraxiom continue to discuss the possibility of a split and even a heel turn for Nathan Frazer.

This past Monday on Raw, Seth Rollins recreated his betrayal of The Shield with a chair shot to the back of Roman Reigns.

A fan on Twitter made a post implying that the scene could also be recreated one day by Nathan Frazer turning on Axiom.

Frazer is of course a protege of Rollins, so it would be poetic in a sense.

However, Frazer himself denies it would ever happen.

After being tagged in the post, he simply replied, “…nope”, to which Axiom responded, “My spider sense would never allow it”.

Frazer did make a little bit of a teasing comment afterwards though, as he wrote, “I mean I could if I wanted to but obviously would never”.

The Frazer and Axiom tag team came about after the two had a series of matches against each other, and there have been teases ever since they’ve formed that they can’t quite seem to 100% get on the same page.

Despite that, they’ve been NXT Tag Team Champions for over a year, with the exception of 19 days last August when they lost the title to Chase U, but then won it straight back.

Talk of potential main roster call-ups for both Frazer and Axiom is naturally heating up as we’re in WrestleMania season, as we often see call-ups post-Mania and in the WWE Draft which is expected to take place in May as usual.

At the WrestleMania weekend NXT Stand & Deliver event, Fraxiom will defend their championship against the winners of a #1 contenders’ tag team gauntlet match on tonight’s WWE NXT.
