The latest update has emerged on the potential split of a WWE tag team as one of its members is in the midst of a big push.
When they first debuted in NXT, Kendal Grey and Carlee Bright were paired up as a tag team at live events and on shows like Level Up and Evolve.
However, Grey has gone on to form a new partnership with Wren Sinclair on NXT TV, as well as being pushed on her own as WWE Evolve Women’s Champion.
Grey also won the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge match this past weekend and will challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Title at New Year’s Evil.
On tonight’s episode of WWE Evolve, Grey and Bright addressed their futures.
Bright said that she’d become concerned she’s now looked at as just “Kendal’s friend,” and wants to go off and do something on her own.
Grey understood and encouraged Bright to do so, motivating her not to allow others to take advantage of her because of her bubbly personality.
The two parted on good terms, but do look to be going their separate ways.
Bright recently teamed up at NXT live events with WWE LFG winner Skylar Raye, who debuted on NXT TV a few weeks ago.
