Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo were set to come face-to-face on tonight’s April 29 episode of WWE NXT on The CW.
Stacks betrayed D’Angelo at Stand & Deliver on WrestleMania Saturday after years of Stacks being a member of the D’Angelo Family.
The face-to-face never actually happened, as Stacks opted not to show up, instead only send D’Angelo a message via video.
Stacks said that D’Angelo has no idea who he can trust right now, a point emphasized by D’Angelo’s own security, including WWE Performance Center trainee Drako Knox, trying to attack him.
D’Angelo managed to fend off the security pretty easily and told Stacks that if he wants to become the new ‘Don’, he’ll have to show up and take D’Angelo’s spot.
The segment ended there, so there was no actual face-to-face as Stacks didn’t appear live on the show.
There was also no further confirmation as to what happened between Stacks and Luca Crusifino last week, other than Stacks pointing out that D’Angelo has lost control and doesn’t have any idea where Crusifino is.
It was also noted that Adriana Rizzo is still “in hiding” after D’Angelo arranged a safehouse for her last week.
