WWE Tag Team Transferred To SmackDown

A Raw women’s tag team has been moved over to SmackDown as the WWE transfer window comes to a close this week.

There have been a number of official brand switches over the past few weeks, with this week marking the last week of the window being open, according to WWE.

Officially confirmed earlier today was that Drew McIntyre had been transferred from Raw to SmackDown, but there was another announcement during tonight’s WWE SmackDown show as well.

Backstage with SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, the tag team of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter were confirmed to now officially be on the SD roster.

Another Raw star that appeared tonight was Akira Tozawa, although he was confirmed to actually still be on the Raw roster, and his appearance tonight was just a one-off as agreed by Aldis and Raw GM Adam Pearce.

Tozawa will have a match against Carmelo Hayes later in tonight’s show, after Hayes attacked Tozawa and cost him his spot in the Royal Rumble match this past Saturday when Tozawa was replaced by IShowSpeed.
