WWE has taken another opportunity to mock the Tony Khan and Ariel Helwani dust up on television on tonight’s episode of NXT.
On commentary, Booker T ribbed fellow commentator Vic Joseph by asking him if he was trying to prove he’s an “unbiased journalist” by “asking tough questions,” in an apparent nod to the continued Helwani drama.
MMA journalist Ariel Helwani found himself part of the story when Tony Khan accused him of being “a fraud” after Helwani appeared on Friday’s edition of SmackDown.
This started a rather unexpected series of events in which WWE poked fun at Khan’s outburst on more than one occasion during Elimination Chamber on February 18.
Helwani himself has even weighed into his own story, reminding critics that he is “not a wrestling journalist”.
Booker T shared his own thoughts on the Helwani and Khan matter in further detail which you can read about by clicking here.
Elsewhere on tonight’s NXT, a star made his in-ring return after four months away from action and a faction targeted a very interesting new recruit.

Good luck with the unbiased journalism.
