WWE Talent’s Television Debut Match Announced

A recently signed WWE talent’s debut match on WWE television has been announced for an upcoming tournament.

WWE LFG Season One winner Jasper Troy got his first taste of championship gold last month, when he defeated El Grande Americano to become the new WWE Speed Champion.

On last night’s episode of NXT, Jasper met with NXT General Manager Ava in her office, where she announced that a new tournament to determine the next challenger for the belt.

Today, WWE confirmed the bracket for the tournament, which features recently signed WWE ID talent Eli Knight, who is set to compete in his first ever match on NXT television, facing off against Tavion Heights.

Knight was announced as a new WWE ID signing on an episode of Evolve back in October, with him having already competed in numerous matches on the show against Sean Legacy and It’s GAL.

The other match in the tournament will see Lexis King face off against Andre Chase, with the winner of the tournament getting the next shot at Jasper Troy’s WWE Speed Championship.
