In recent weeks, WWE has begun airing video packages for some of it’s recently debuting or returning stars.
The vignettes featured have focused on names such as Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance, JD McDonagh and more.
The segments are done as a way to bring a closer look on the characters of various midcard stars on the red brand, and it appears to be working, at least internally.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), many of the vignettes were filmed several weeks before they ended up airing on television.
The report also notes that the talent have been ‘enjoying’ the video packages.
Kayden Carter and Katana Chance, who were called up in the 2023 WWE Draft, received several weeks of video packages prior to their in-ring debut on the show.
Kayden and Katana made their debuts against Women’s Tag Team Champions Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler on this week’s episode of Raw.
Despite losing, those within the company were reportedly very happy with how the duo performed in their debut match on the red brand.
