Potential WWE Signing Signs With Another Promotion

A reported WWE signing target will seemingly not be joining the company, and has officially signed with another promotion.

El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr, the son of the legendary luchador Dr Wagner Jr, left Pro Wrestling NOAH back in January, becoming a free agent.

Wagner Jr reportedly had interest from WWE, with him often teasing that he would potentially sign with the promotion, but that will not be the case.

Today, El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr’s next move was made official, when it was announced during a press conference that he had signed with Lucha Libre AAA.

It was reported by Planeta Wrestling that his contract with AAA was for one year.

There has been speculation of a potential relationship between WWE and AAA in recent months, with some fans speculating that Chad Gable may be set to make an appearance for the promotion amid his ongoing quest to ‘master the dark arts’ of Lucha Libre.
