WWE NXT’s Tavion Heights and Josh Briggs are currently in Japan and have been seen training with two wrestling legends.
Heights and Briggs are taking part in the Pro Wrestling NOAH N-1 Victory Tournament with their first matches now in the history books.
It isn’t all in-ring competition for both men, however, as a photo recently shared on Twitter has shown.
The photo, shared by Keiji Muto, can be seen below this news story and shows both men in the company of two Japanese wrestling legends.
As can be seen in the photo, Heights and Briggs have been training with Great Muta and Marufuji.
The photo on Muto’s Twitter account bore the (translated) caption:
“In a project by Abema TV, I watched NXT’s Josh and Tavion practice in the hot NOAH dojo. I wonder if one of these two will win N-1?”
Keiji Muto was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2023 and faced WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura in January of that year at NOAH The New Year.
His retirement tour saw him team with Sting and Darby Allin to take on AKIRA, Hakushi and Naomichi Marufuji at Pro Wrestling Noah’s The Great Muta Final “Bye-Bye”.
Naomichi Marufuji recently faced AJ Styles in Pro Wrestling NOAH in a twenty-five-minute match with the WWE star being victorious.
Marufuji has gone on to say that he would ‘love’ to face the recently-crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
