Despite having two very impressive matches on 205 Live in the last few months, it seems like WWE might have a feud planned for Chad Gable on Smackdown Live.
The former Raw and Smackdown Tag Team Champion is widely regarded as one of the best workers in the company with immense potential. However, he has seemingly been massively underutilised since his split from American Alpha teammate Jason Jordan.
Last night on Smackdown, seeds were planted for a feud between Chad Gable and Elias. With Elias’ ties to Shane McMahon, this would likely position Chad Gable as a midcard babyface.

There is no word on whether or not this tease will lead to a proper feud between the two former NXT stars. But hopefully we will begin to see the very talented Chad Gable on TV once again.
