JD McDonagh has sent a message to Jelly Roll ahead of SummerSlam, with the musician set to make an appearance at the WWE show.

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H recently announced that two songs from Jelly Roll’s upcoming album will be official theme songs for the August 3 SummerSlam premium live event.

Teasing performances from Jelly Roll, Triple H tweeted:

Excited to have my friend Jelly Roll back with two official #SummerSlam theme songs: “Dead End Road” off Twisters: The Album, and “Liar” off his album coming this fall.

Btw, @JellyRoll615 – let me know if you’re free on Aug. 3 to play a few songs for the @WWEUniverse…

JD McDonagh has now reacted to this announcement, following his previous altercation with the musician.

Threatening to “drop a mfer real quick”, McDonagh wrote:

If he knows what’s good for him, @JellyRoll615 will stay as far away from me as he can backstage at #Summerslam.

My neck is all healed up now, and even if I can’t pick him up, I’ll drop a mfer real quick for attacking me when I was injured. 😡😤

Jelly Roll notably put his hands on JD McDonagh on the November 27, 2023 Raw episode, shoving McDonagh during Dominik Mysterio’s match against Randy Orton.
