WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley has shared a throwback photo with Raquel Rodriguez ahead of their upcoming title match.

At Saturday’s (September 2) Payback premium live event, Ripley will put her title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez.

The duo notably have history with one another, with Ripley and Rodriguez previously presented as friends on WWE TV.

Ripley has now taken to Twitter to share a photo of herself and Rodriguez at an NXT event together, alongside a poster for their match this weekend.

Another WWE star has said that they’re scheduled to wrestle Rhea Ripley at the September 8 Superstar Spectacle show.
