For better or worse, an era of WWE came to an end after last night’s (July 9) episode of WWE SmackDown.
With WWE taping next week’s (July 12) episode of Raw this week, last night’s show was officially the last show to take place inside the WWE Thunderdome.
SmackDown star Bayley, who many consider the MVP of the pandemic era, posted a video on Twitter today showcasing the WWE staff officially packing away the Thunderdome, a long with a message reminiscing about her time in the pandemic era.
Tons of championship matches, multiple tag team matches, so much yelling at Cole, contract signings, 2 Hell in a Cell matches, frustration, wins, losses, tears, endless memories for the past 15 months. So….What’s another 9? 😵💫

It’s bittersweet to see WWE’s latest investment be locked away in the warehouse for the rest of time.
Fans return to WWE for next week’s SmackDown, and WWE has announced a huge six-man tag team match to main event their first show back.
