A WWE star is seemingly set to take some time away from in-ring action to regroup after a recent run of losses.
In April 2025, Kali Armstrong became the first ever WWE Evolve Women’s Champion, defeating Wendy Choo, Kendal Grey and Kylie Rae in a four-way match.
She held the title for 140 days before losing it to current champion Kendal Grey in September.
Including the match against Grey, Armstrong has suffered five consecutive losses on WWE Evolve, including being beaten by PJ Vasa, by Grey again, then by Grey in a three-way that also featured Vasa, and most recently by Karmen Petrovic.
On tonight’s Evolve, Armstrong suggested she might need to take some time away. She said:
“I’m disappointed in myself. I’m not used to racking up losses like this. I’m too strong Armstrong. I’m the difference maker.
“I gotta get that dog back in me. That dog that got me to USC. That dog that had me running circles around these chicks on my way to becoming Evolve Women’s Champion.
“Maybe I need to go back home for a minute until I can remember who I am and where I came from.”

Armstrong has been featured a few times on NXT TV in recent months and is often seen in the background of backstage segments, but hasn’t been used as a prominent member of the women’s division yet.
