Jordynne Grace has shared her first message after her loss to NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Battleground on May 25.
The NXT Women’s Championship match saw Vaquer retain the championship that she won in March 2025.
In a post shared on Twitter, Grace broke her silence on the less, sharing a poignant message that read:
“The hardest truth to swallow:
“Simply not being good enough.”
The tweet was accompanied by an image of Vaquer and Grace shaking hands in the NXT ring.
Natalya would share her thoughts on the match in a reply to Grace, noting:
“You both were fantastic.”
Jordynne Grace signed with WWE in January, competing for the first time as a contracted WWE talent in the women’s Royal Rumble match on February 1.
Following her first match as a WWE star, it was reported that she was on a ‘main roster deal‘ despite officially joining NXT.
Elsewhere on Battleground, history was made by Trick Williams as he became the first current WWE star to win a TNA Wrestling Championship.
Williams has reacted to his victory over Joe Hendry, taking a shot at the TNA Wrestling star in a short video.
