An update has emerged as to when boxing fans will find out more details of the new promotion being launched by WWE’s parent company, TKO.
On March 5, 2025, it was reported that TKO Group Holdings had agreed on a deal with the Saudi General Entertainment Authority to launch a new boxing promotion.
Per the report, WWE President Nick Khan and UFC President & CEO Dana White will head up the promotion’s executive leadership team, with TKO to serve as a ‘managing partner’, running the day-to-day operations of the promotion.
Speaking on The Bill Simmons Podcast, Khan has now revealed when the first card will be announced for the Saudi Arabia debut, stating:
“If we’re mid-April now, I’d look for a big announcement on that for the next 4 to 6 weeks as to what our first card is gonna be and who’s gonna be on that card.”
TKO Group Holdings not only owns WWE but is the parent company of UFC and Professional Bull Riders.
At the time of writing, the Khan & White-led Saudi Arabia boxing promotion is without a name.
