TNA Wrestling Stars Expected To Have Breakout Years In 2026

Two TNA Wrestling stars, one of whom is a current champion, are expected to have a breakout year in 2026, according to one name.

With iMPACT heading to AMC next year, it is no doubt hoped that more eyes will be on TNA Wrestling, with the company currently sharing a partnership with WWE.

That partnership has seen Leon Slater compete at the recent WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, the final show in John Cena’s in-ring career.

Slater, the current X Division Champion, is one name that Satino Marella believes will have a breakout year in 2026, with a former WWE name being another.

Speaking on Medd in the Morning,the on-screen director of authority named Slater and Xia Brookside as his picks for breakout stars next year, saying:

“I guess I’ll continue to say Leon (Slater), I mean, he’s kind of already had a breakout year, but I believe he’s going to break out even further.

“I think Xia Brookside, man, she’s poised to have an incredible year as well.”

Slater was also the subject of praise from Triple H, who addressed the future of NXT stars in WWE following Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Xia Brookside previously competed in NXT UK, signing a multi-year deal with TNA Wrestling in early 2024.
