WWE Star Shares Honest Reaction To ‘Unexpected’ TNA Crossover WWE

NXT commentator Booker T has shared his honest thoughts on recent crossover between WWE and TNA Wrestling, calling a recent segment “unexpected”.

While Jordynne Grace previously appeared for WWE in January’s Royal Rumble match, many fans were surprised to see Grace return to WWE TV on the May 28 edition of NXT.

It was announced during this show that the TNA Knockouts Champion will challenge for Roxanne Perez’ NXT Women’s Title at NXT Battleground.

It was previously reported that Grace’s appearance came as a surprise to Perez, who reportedly didn’t want to know her Battleground opponent ahead of time.

Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T confirmed that he also wasn’t told about Grace’s NXT debut ahead of time.

Believing that this crossover match will give his former Reality of Wrestling student the opportunity to prove herself, Booker T said:

“Unexpected entry. I’m serious, man. She came out and I didn’t know she was gonna be there at all; it was a surprise, a shock to me, just like it was for Roxanne Perez… I was talking about Jordynne Grace at the Royal Rumble and how good of a job and she fit right in, she really looked like she belonged.

“For her to make this step to show up in Vegas, at Battleground taking on the champ, the prodigy, this is gonna be good. This is gonna be really really good; it’s gonna get a chance to let Roxanne Perez show how good she really is as champion.”

Booker T notably wrestled for TNA Wrestling himself from November 2007 to May 2010.

A current TNA Wrestling star who previously wrestled for WWE has teased his return, which you can read more about right here.
