‘That’s A Compliment’: WWE Stars Compared To Former TNA Wrestling Champions

Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley/Bully Ray has compared a group of WWE stars to a veteran TNA Wrestling team.

The December 30 edition of NXT saw NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence defeat Wren Sinclair in singles action, with Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid joining Jayne in a post-match beatdown of Sinclair after the match.

Speaking on Busted Open, Bully Ray noted that on this week’s episode, Fatal Influence reminded him of the original Beautiful People lineup of Angelina Love and Velvet Sky.

Bully Ray said:

“For some reason when Fatal Influence were doing their backstage walk tonight, I was like ‘Oh my god, this incarnation, this version of Fatal Influence reminds me so much of the OG Beautiful People in TNA.

“So many women in the wrestling business tried to rip off the Beautiful People, tried to rip off Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. None of them got it right.

“Now, Fatal Influence are not trying to rip off the Beautiful People, but I’ll be damned if I’m not getting that vibe off of them, that mean girls vibe.

“They’re jelling really well, and that’s what hit me, I was like ‘Wow, I’m getting Beautiful People vibes here’, and that’s a compliment.”
