WWE Star Makes TNA Impact Debut

WWE Star Makes TNA Impact Debut WWE/TNA Wrestling

A WWE star has made his TNA iMPACT debut with an attack on Mike Santana after he called out NXT’s Trick Williams.

With tensions between Mike Santana and Trick Williams rising, a match was recently confirmed for TNA Bound for Glory on October 12.

That match will see Williams put his TNA World Championship on the line, with his opponent calling out the champion on last night’s episode of iMPACT.

With Santana reacting to comments made by Williams, the TNA Wrestling star called out the double-champion, saying:

“Hey, yo, Trick. I ain’t gonna front. You call me slippy. I turn my back, I let my guard down and you took full advantage, but don’t think for one second that’s ever gonna happen again, ’cause on October 12, Bound for Glory, you better say a prayer and give your soul to God because your b**ch-**s belongs to me.”

The fans were clearly on Santana’s side but the mood would change with the arrival of Ridge Holland.

Holland would attack Santana from behind, knocking the TNA Wrestling star to the mat and continuing his attack.

With Holland’s work done, the fans would share their dislike for the NXT star.

Holland signed with WWE in May 2018 and would mostly feature on NXT until his call-up in 2021.

Two years on the main roster would see him team with Sheamus and Butch (now back to Pete Dunne, and working in a backstage capacity) as The Brawling Brutes.

Holland returned to NXT in December 2023 and has remained a fixture on the brand since, holding the NXT Tag Team Championship as a member of Chase U, and recently debuting on Evolve as well.
