TNA Champion Responds To WWE Star’s Challenge

TNA Tag Team Champion Brian Myers has responded to Xavier Woods stating that he’s interested in taking his championship.

Following TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace’s appearance on Tuesday’s NXT episode, there has been a lot of speculation about the next step in a WWE-TNA Wrestling crossover, from both fans and wrestlers.

Xavier Woods recently took to Twitter to note that if there’s more movement between the two companies, he wants to win the TNA tag titles with Kofi Kingston, and make a song with TNA’s Joe Hendry.

Brian Myers has now taken to Twitter to share a photo of him and Eddie Edwards holding their TNA Tag Team Championship belts.

Welcoming Woods’ challenge, Myers wrote:

Well, @TheEddieEdwards & I would love to see you try. Ain’t nobody scared of @TrueKofi’s old ass.

Oh yea, and @joehendry sucks bro.

Myers previously wrestled for WWE as Curt Hawkins. While Woods and Myers faced off in singles action at several WWE house shows in 2012, they haven’t battled it out in tag-team action.
