Earlier today, news broke that WWE had agreed to see their exclusive streaming rights of the WWE Network in the US to NCBU’s Peacock.
The Wall Street Journal is now reporting that the deal is set to run for five years, and is set to land WWE approximately $1 billion:
Terms of the pact weren’t disclosed. A person familiar with the deal said it runs five years and is valued at more than $1 billion.
The deal will see the WWE Network shut down in the US, with all on-demand Network content and live WWE pay-per-views being streamed on Peacock from March 18.
